Writer-in-Residence Jessica Strawser will be visiting
Library book clubs to join their discussions of her domestic suspense novel Not
That I Could Tell, which Book of the Month Club dubbed "a page-turner
a la Big Little Lies." All are welcome, even if you've never
attended a meeting before! Ask the author anything, learn more about the
real-life inspiration behind the story, and spend a fun, enriching hour with
fellow readers. (Note: It IS best to read the novel before attending: Book club
discussions are not spoiler free.) Readers who own copies of any of the
author's titles are welcome to bring them along to have them inscribed.
We use art based activities to help teach English in a fresh new way. Forming the base students can fall back on when in a real-life English situation. We start our week with a simple art history lesson, then try our hand at basic art activities (no previous experience needed). Free lessons, materials provided, and no registration required. Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00-4:00.
Please call 369-3121 if you are interested or have additional questions.
